Arturo Duque

Growing up in Mexico, Arturo loved music and started DJing while still a teenager. He worked at a steel factory and later managed a company that supplied a 28-store chain. His first job after he came to the US was installing lighting for a lighting manufacturer. His attention to detail on the jobsite led to him noticing that painters had missed a spot here and there, so he started doing touch-ups during his breaks. He found a piece that was going to be thrown away - he transformed it and brought it back to life. The owner of the shop saw the piece and sold it the next day! 

Before joining Kala, Arturo led his own painting crew for many years. He’s a stellar addition to the Kala team, leading the painting crew and overseeing sheetrock installation. When he’s not working, Arturo likes to watch soccer and American football with his mom and lifts weights at a local gym.
