To meet this exacting standard, the Kala team has unified architecture and design emphasizing aesthetic beauty, functional living, and modern building science, with an in-house construction team trained in the precision assembly of the thermal, vapor, water, and air control layers that make high-performance buildings function as intended within the defined budget.
Kala built the first Phius-certified passive home in Missouri, and is constructing the first, non-subsidized, economically-viable passive house in Kansas and has a backlog of projects that need execution across the Kansas City metro.
