Chandler Hanna

Chandler started his architecture studies at UMKC before transferring to KU, where he completed his Master of Architecture degree in 2016. In his final year, he was a member of Studio 804's LEED Platinum project at 1200 Pennsylvania Street—an experience that sparked a lasting passion for residential design-build work. After graduation, he moved back to St. Joseph to work with a family member who is an architect before eventually returning to Kansas City in 2021. 



Prior to joining Kala, Chandler worked at Helix Architecture + Design where his time was mainly spent working on workplace and multi-family residential projects. When he left Helix, he was eager to return to the design-build world and joined Kala. These days, when he's not detailing houses, he's doing his best to stay active, playing in a basketball league (though his knees keep reminding him he's not as young as he used to be!) and going for runs when he can. Additionally, he and his wife Caitlin enjoy working on fixer uppers on their nights and weekends and are always looking for a new project.
