Jerel Toler

Carpenter

Jerel brings a diverse background and a taste for adventure to the team. Growing up as the youngest of four siblings in a small town near Wichita, Jerel pursued various studies at Pitt State but found the conventional career path unfulfilling.

Seeking excitement, he ventured to Colorado, where he spent a year doing seasonal gigs. He ventured back to Wichita where he was scratching his creative itch, working for a company that specialized in vinyl graphics and vehicle wraps. Realizing he didn’t want to live in Wichita long-term, he moved back to Colorado and began working with a company that did manufacturing, safety equipment, and graphics for ski resorts across the nation. Despite his varied experiences, his passion for hands-on work led him to Kala, where he currently is excelling on the finish carpentry team.

Outside of work, Jerel's adventurous spirit shines through his love for extreme sports, including motorcycle racing and skiing. He's also no stranger to the thrill of the skies, having pursued skydiving training independently and embracing adrenaline-pumping activities such as the big swing at the Royal Gorge. While he’s not sure exactly what his next big adventure will be, he’s happy honing in his carpentry skills at Kala.
